After more than a year of work, has finally arrived on the day of the premiere for the film "Pisa, Women and Leopardi."
The event is scheduled for Tuesday, December 21, at "The Canvas", in Via Cattaneo 45, starting at 20.00.

The film, which involved over 150 people (technicians, actors and extras), started from an idea by Paola Pisani Paganelli and immediately aroused great interest, culture-ending pages of major newspapers, not least because, in addition to highlighting the historical female figures of the nineteenth century Pisa, offers an image of Leopardi quite different from that which is handed down to us from books school.
But, in addition to interviews and reviews of newspapers, it is surprising how much "common people" has kept in contact for months (even from far away places), to see how engaging in the work.
The film was directed by Robert Merlino, Pisa adoption, from a screenplay written by himself with Paola Pisani Paganelli. Both authors appear in the film dressed in actorial, as himself, along with a cast, most of Tuscany, made by Horace Cioffi (Giacomo Leopardi), Martina Landini (Teresa Lucignani), Raimo Pino (John Rosier), Maria Luisa Chiofalo (Elena Mastiani Brunacci), Ilaria Gargini (Madame Mason ), Gabriella Ghilarducci (Laura Di Lupo Parra), Silvia Paganelli (Sofia Vaccà Berlinghieri), Roberta Geri (Anna Soderini) and Andrea Giuntini (Giuseppe Soderini).
But there is also an opera singer (Arianna Lorenzi), a declaimer Dante (Carlo Poli), a designer (Andrea Palermo), a stone mason (Gabriele Prophets), the owner of Royal Victoria Hotel (Nicola Piegaja), the consul of 'Academy of Disunited (Ferdinando Ciampi), a speaker's TV Channel 50 (Antonello Colombu) and a girl who "hits" Leopardi (Chiara Maltomini).
Also important is the participation of Pisa Dance Company, choreographed by Simonetta Balsamo.
The evocative original music are by Sergio Brunetti, a photograph of Antonio Tosi and Roberto Carli, costumes and Loren Valentini Giulia Cardinali, make-up Roberto Carra spoke of "Nocturna Lux" and has collaborated Speziga Simona; for hairstyles " Dolce Diva "and" Hair Dressing "shooting the back-stage are the work of Oren and Hulya Marilena Checchi, photographer Simon Carozzo; catering Caprilli Roberta; Press Officer and blog Antonella Tagliarini, assistant director Stefano Vannelli.

Shot by techniques of Tripoli Court Cinema, the film has found and supported in many "reality", both public and private.
